Concerts that pay artists
and show the work.

Meek Earth Studio produces ticketed concerts that pay small artists fairly and give small nonprofits the media assets and audience attention they cannot otherwise afford. We do not raise, collect, or represent charitable funds. The community obligation is not a slogan. It is the corporate form.

  1. 01

    Pay small artists fairly

Each of two performing artists is paid one-fifth of net ticket revenue within fourteen days of the show, in writing. That is a real share after the concert — not a door split, not a tip jar, and not a transfer at the point of purchase.

  2. 02

    Collaborate with small nonprofits

Each concert is produced in collaboration with one small nonprofit. They receive a filmed executive director interview, three finished social clips, on-air attribution, traffic to their own website, community tickets, and an After Action Report. They do not receive a cut of the ticket price.

  3. 03

    A ticket is a ticket

Ticket revenue belongs to the studio as earned revenue. Nothing in the purchase is a donation. No donate button appears on this site. No portion of any ticket is represented as benefiting the partner organization.

  4. 04

Show the work they already do

The interview is editorial content about what the organization does and who they serve. We point the audience to their website. We do not make an ask on their behalf, and we do not claim dollars raised, meals served, or people helped.

  5. 05

    After Action Reports

Within twenty-one days we deliver attendance, viewership, click-throughs to the organization's website, social reach on the clips, and the list of assets delivered — written so a partner can paste it into a grant report.

  6. 06

    Ethical AI Governance

We do not deploy models trained on data obtained without consent. We do not sell behavioral data. We do not replace artists with generated performances. Our tools are for clarity, not attention.

  7. 07

    Follow-through is legally binding

As a Public Benefit Corporation, our obligations to the public are enforceable — not aspirational. The mandates govern every ticket sold.

THE ROADMAP

Three forms, and where we are today

Meek Earth Studio grows in three forms. We’re at Form 1 today and working toward Form 2.

  1. FORM 1

    Where we are today

A concert company that pays artists fairly

We produce and sell ticketed concerts the way a traditional concert company does, except that each performing artist is paid a written one-fifth share of net ticket revenue. The partner nonprofit receives a media package: a filmed interview, finished social clips, on-air attribution and an After Action Report. No donations are involved.

  2. FORM 2

    Working toward it

A ticket, then the nonprofit's own donate button

Checkout starts with a ticket and then leads to a donate button that the nonprofit owns and runs. Completing that step is what releases the ticket number and the delivered perks. The donation goes straight to the nonprofit; Meek Earth Studio never holds it. This isn't live yet, and we'll update the mandates above before it launches.

  3. FORM 3

    Later

    A licensed payment partner

We find a payment processor that is willing to let us operate under its money transmitter license, so ticket money, artist pay and nonprofit funds can move through one licensed flow. We haven't found that partner yet.

After Action Reports

After every concert we report attendance, viewership, click-throughs, and the assets we delivered. We do not report dollars raised for a partner, because we do not raise them.
